Kari Sholtes, 博士学位, is a practicing civil and environmental engineer who has worked as a project engineer and project manager in the private and public sectors and with non-governmental organizations. Her 博士学位 research focused on ultraviolet light disinfection systems and appropriate applications of drinking water treatment technologies.

Sholtes has spent her career supporting underrepresented communities in developing their water infrastructure with an emphasis on understanding and meeting stakeholders’ complex needs and streamlining/simplifying operations.
