The 护士助手 program prepares students for employment as a nurse aide in hospitals, 熟练的护理设施, 家庭保健和临终关怀设施. Enrollment in this clinical course is contingent upon the student passing a criminal background check.

Coursework emphasizes the special needs of the geriatric population. Students who successfully complete this certificate qualify to take the State Certification Examination. This certificate instruction includes basic nursing assistant procedures, 技能, 恢复服务, 一般家庭活动, 病人护理, 安全和急救护理. Students gain an understanding of the responsibilities involved in working with patients of all 年龄s, 无论健康还是疾病, 心理健康问题, patient rights and patient/family interactions. A minimum of 92 contact hours of training are required.

Admission to the nurse aide program requires an application in addition to the 卡pp电子极速糖果的科技 admission application. There are additional expenses for students for this program. This process and additional 费用 are outlined in the CNA信息 and Application packet.Students must be at least 16 years old the day class begins in order to be registered.
